PERROUT (René). The Épinal Prints. Nancy. Revue Lorraine illustrée, 1910–1914. First edition published in this journal (Nos. 1, 3 and 4 of 1910, 2 and 4 of 1911, and 2 of 1912). 207 engravings in the text, including 149 in colour, and 44 colour plates, including 4 four-page spreads, almost all printed from the original woodblocks. These instalments also include Henri Bernard’s work *Saint-Michel* (118 pages, 113 illustrations, including 7 in the text); *Jeanne d’Arc* by Stofflet, with 8 illustrations in the text; and a biography of General Drouot by Perrout, with 25 illustrations, including 5 in colour, and 3 colour plates. The complete set bound in a single large quarto volume in red half-shagreen with corner caps and gilt head.
