Engraving enhanced with watercolour on laid paper by Louis Denis in 1776, published in his famous collection of maps entitled *Le Conducteur français*. Engraved by Chalmandrier. The map begins at the medieval town of Provins and traverses landscapes of valleys and plateaus via the village of Sourdun, ending in the bustling town of Troyes via the north-western suburbs, renowned for its fairs and tanneries.
