(LYON-69) Antoine-Michel PERRACHE (1726–1779) – “Mr Perrache’s Plan for the Southern Part of the City of Lyon” – 18th century. Engraving on laid paper by Antoine-Michel Perrache, circa 1770. The aim of this plan was to reclaim land from the water to the south of the Lyon peninsula by pushing the confluence of the Rhône and the Saône further south. (285 x 400 mm) – Condition A-. Original creases. Soiling and dust. A tear on the right-hand side, reinforced on the reverse.
