(NORMANDY-76) Louis DENIS (1725–1794) – “The Road from Rouen to Dieppe...” - 18th century. Engraving enhanced with watercolour on laid paper by Louis Denis in 1776, published in his famous collection of maps entitled *Le Conducteur français*. Engraved by Chalmandrier. The map begins in the Seine valley and ends at the crossing at Saint-Aubin-sur-Scie, before descending the ‘Côte de Rouen’ to pass through the fortified gates of the port of Dieppe. (170 x 320 mm) – Condition A–. Map with a tear. Press creases.
