(NAPOLEON-HISTORY) Henri PILLE (1844–1897) – “Napoleon and his generals” – 19th century. Black pencil drawing by Henri Pille on fine cream-coloured paper, signed in the lower right-hand corner. He was awarded a gold medal by the Ministry of Fine Arts in 1869, and another at the Paris Universal Exhibition in 1889. (365 x 230 mm) - Condition A-: Short tears and creases along the edges. Two traces of old adhesive at the top.
