(19th century – EUROPE) Richard RANFT (1862–1931) – “Childe Harold’s Pilgrimage” – 19th century. Aquatint engraving on Arches laid paper, by Richard Ranft, after a painting by William Turner. Signed in pencil in the lower right-hand corner and numbered 63 in the lower right-hand corner. Inscription “D’après Turner Richard Ranft” in black pencil within the subject in the lower right-hand corner. (500 x 800 mm) – Condition A-. Good overall condition, a few creases. Fragility on the right-hand side at the edge of the print, reinforced on the reverse.
