DAUM NANCY ‘Wild Tulips’, a design created around [1901], based on a decorative composition attributed to Henri Bergé (1870–1937) Single-flower vase; with an ovoid base and a long, trumpet-shaped neck. Multi-layered glass piece; the title decoration is etched and executed in polychrome enamels and gold on a green ground for the lower section and an orange ground for the neck. The circular vase features a variation of the title decoration on a gold ground. The neck is rubbed with gold. Art Nouveau period. Signed with the DAUM Nancy coat of arms featuring the Cross of Lorraine, in gold beneath the base. H. 19.5 cm Slight, scattered wear to the gold-accented areas. Expert: Emmanuel Eyraud
