MARCEL ANDRÉ BOURAINE (1886–1948) ‘Diane the Huntress’ Large sculptural group. Bronze cast, originally silver-plated. Early edition cast from the 1930s. Sits on a wooden plinth. Signed ‘BOURAINE’ on the pedestal and bears the publisher’s mark ‘ETLING Paris’ on the side of the pedestal. Height of sculpture alone: 72 cm – Height including base: 80 cm Significant loss of patina; the figure of Diana is entirely stripped of patina.
