Description
ROBERT LALLEMANT (1902–1954) – MEMBER OF THE UAM A variation on the ‘Fortified House’ or ‘Moorish Architecture’ design Baluster lamp base; the shoulder features a ridge. Glazed ceramic piece; the title motif rendered in a Cubist style and in polychrome on an ivory background. Originally pierced at the base. Produced in the late 1920s – early 1930s. Signed ‘R. LALLEMANT R. Made in France’ on the underside. H. 20 cm A crack and a small chip in the glaze around the rim.
