PIERRE CHAPO (1927–1987) ‘S11 X’ – a design created around [1966] Set of 4 elm chairs. The frames feature exposed B5-type double-fork joints. The seats and backs are upholstered in Cognac leather, secured with laces and featuring saddle-stitching. Early examples. H. 78 cm – W. 45 cm – D. 53 cm Shows signs of wear; scattered stains on the leather parts; two leather backrest bands have a tear.
