Jacques FAVINO single-pickup jazz-style hollow-body guitar. Top, back and sides made of plywood with an ash finish. Pickup marked ‘Bill Lawrence’. Retailer’s label: ‘A LA FLUTE ENCHANTEE / JOSEPH-SAPEY-TRIOMPHE / 32 AVENUE LA MOTTE PIQUET / A PARIS’. Made in Paris circa 1950–60. Schaller rear tuners, varnish heavily worn. Small section of fretboard binding missing. Previous repair to the jack socket, scratches and signs of wear. Pickup in working order. Total length excluding strap button: 106.5 cm. String length: 63.2 cm. Hard case.
