Description
Classical guitar made by Daniel FRIEDRICH, bearing his handwritten signature on a brace: ‘D. Friedrich Paris 6/59’. Spruce top, mahogany back and sides. Rosewood-veneered headstock, SB tuners. Ebony fingerboard. Seven-strand fan-shaped bracing on the top plus two additional ‘V’-shaped braces closing the fan, two diagonal braces on either side of the soundhole, three ladder-shaped braces on the back. Made by Daniel FRIEDRICH in Paris in June 1959. Traces of pickguards that have been removed and kept, slight traces of bracing re-gluing. Small gap at the neck-to-body joint. Top nut and frets replaced, scratches and signs of wear, needs restringing. Length: 97.8 cm. String length: 65.1 cm. Nut width: 52 mm. In its period case (shows wear).
