HEAD OF VENUS Carved from white marble, the face is oval with round cheeks and a pointed chin. The fine, arched eyebrows sit above small almond-shaped eyes and pursed lips. Her hair is wavy and parted in the middle by a divine headband, combed back and gathered into a tight bun. Roman art, 2nd century AD.
