FIGURE OF A SAINT
Carved from limestone. She is depicted standing, dressed in a long gown with a cloak fastened at the chest; in her right hand she holds a cross and in her left a closed, horizontal book. Her head appears to be covered by a cap, which may have once held a removable crown that is now missing.
France, late 15th century, early 16th century.
