Description
TRINITARIAN GROUP OF SAINT ANNE
A finely crafted group carved from oak, polychromed and gilded, depicting the Infant Jesus held in his Mother’s arms alongside his grandmother, Saint Anne. In his left hand he holds a bird, and with his right hand he takes a piece of fruit from the basket offered to him by Saint Anne. Saint Anne and the Virgin Mary are standing; the Virgin is crowned and Saint Anne wears a guimp. Hollowed-out back.
