CHALICE in vermeil (gold-plated silver) and silver. The circular base is adorned with palmette motifs and features an appliqué decoration of cherubs’ faces. The stem features knots with plant motifs. The slightly flared bowl is adorned with an appliqué decoration of a scroll of acanthus leaves. Hallmarks: Minerve 2nd titre and silversmith’s mark: Auguste LAROCHE.  Height: 30 cm. Gross weight: 598 g. A vermeil paten is included. Vieillard hallmark, 1st standard, Province, 1819–1838. No silversmith’s hallmark. Diameter: 16 cm. Weight: 105 g.
