TOP OF THE TABERNACLE Carved and gilded wood, in the shape of a temple with a curved pediment, resting on six twisted Solomonic columns housing niches. Cherub heads emerging from the lower section. Spain, 17th century. The central section was later adorned with a detached figure of Christ the Saviour of the World, carved from wood and gilded. Height: 72 cm – Width: 93 cm – Depth: 32 cm (Numerous damages and losses, alterations)
