Rare watercolour drawing depicting a reception table for a journeyman carpenter. "Albigeoi le bien-aimé, compagnon passan charpentier bondrille pour la vie" excuté par lui-même "Albe Bernard", dated 1839. Stains, wear. France, Tarn, 19th century, 1839 Born in Rabastens (81) 20 /04/1816, son of Pierre ALBE, carpenter, and Marie VIALAR. witnesses: Guillaume PIGASSE, 33, weaver, and (ill.) MALATERRE, aged 36, weaver. He was accepted as a journeyman carpenter in Agen on St Joseph's Day 1839 under the name of Albigeois le Bien Aimé. This painting is referenced in the musée du compagnonnage in Tours.
