ATTRIBUTED TO FROMENT-MEURICE – 1840s INTERESTING CHATELAINE WITH CUPIDS It is surmounted by two cherubs offering each other an apple, flanking a first opal escutcheon, with two further cherubs presenting a second opal escutcheon. Multiple chains with olive-shaped links. Silver and vermeil setting. Gross weight: 46.39 g. Height: 14 cm. A silver-gilt and opal chatelain attributed to Froment-Meurice, circa 1840.
