Joan MIRÓ. Tracé sur l’eau. A series of watercolours. Paris, Maeght, 1963. Oblong in-4 album, loose-leaf, with an illustrated and mounted cover, in the publisher’s unbleached canvas slipcase. First edition of this fine album featuring reproductions of 14 watercolours by Joan Miró on ‘Onion Skin’ paper from the Marais. The cover is illustrated with a large original colour lithograph. One of the 100 special edition copies, enhanced with an original double-page colour etching by Miró, signed and numbered (no. 40). The certificate of authenticity is also signed by Miró.
