HERMES Paris. ‘Silhouettes’ collection: 3 bowls and 3 plates in fine bone china. The 3 bowls are decorated with a squirrel silhouette and pastel yellow, turquoise and green borders, whilst the plates feature childlike scenes and pastel pink, lavender and blue-green borders. Bowl diameter 15cm, plate diameter 20cm. Hermès stamp on the base. In their original Hermès box. Very good condition. Hermès’ “Silhouettes Collection” was conceived as a poetic comic strip in porcelain: the centre of each piece features poetic illustrations drawn in soft grey lines, evoking scenes of children and animals (dogs, hens). Fine Bone China, also known as bone ash porcelain, is a high-quality porcelain renowned for its translucency and great strength.
