LEONARD Fashion Paris Ban Lon. Dress: made from jersey printed with yellow, white and beige motifs on a black background. Round neckline. Back zip. White rectangular label featuring the word ‘LEONARD’ in black lettering and ‘BAN LON Fashion Paris’ in white lettering within a black square. 1970s. No size label. (38–40?). Slightly frayed around the zip. Originally founded on knitwear, the Leonard Paris brand enjoyed immense success in the 1960s and 1970s thanks to its use of Ban-Lon, a textured nylon fibre that was revolutionary at the time.
