Magistrate’s sword.
Chiselled brass mountings embellished with bronze-plated steel bars. Pommel and openwork guard decorated with the imperial eagle. The guard chain is missing. The blade is engraved over two-thirds of its length with foliage scrolls, showing traces of gold. The scabbard is made of weathered leather with two brass fittings.
Length: 90 cm.
