French Revolution – Set of thirteen: 6 June 1790, a medal of the Confederation of the Departments of the Nord, Pas-de-Calais and Somme in Lille, by Durig, gilt bronze, with a loop, 34 x 26 mm; a large oval magistrate’s medallion in gilt bronze, inscribed “RESPECT À LA LOI” on both sides within an oak wreath, flattened loop, ring on the reverse, 56 x 43 mm; a medal commemorating the Fête de la Fédération, 14 July 1790, silver re-strike, ring, 41 mm; Charlotte Corday Darmans, single-sided stamped copper medal, silver-plated, missing the loop, 35 mm; 30 January 1797, surrender of Mantua, patinated bronze medal, by Denon, 35 mm; five bronze ‘confiance’ medals by Monneron, three of five sols, two of two sols, one gilded; two National Guard collar plates, one of later minting; one cast bronze button.
