Description
HARWOOD Circa: 1930 Round 14k gold watch. Two-tone dial with Breguet numerals. Diamond-shaped hands. Plexiglass crystal. Mechanical self-winding movement known as the ‘Bumper’, based on the BLANCPAIN 580247 – HARWOOD SGDG patent. Time setting via the notched bezel. A small red dot appears at 6 o’clock to indicate that the watch is in the time-setting position. This is the first model of an automatic watch, as the earliest models were released in the early 1920s. 14k gold case with a clipped caseback. Diameter: 29 mm Leather strap with a gold pin buckle. Gross weight: 29.40 g Condition report: Watch in working order.
