ERNEST BOREL Set of two watches ‘Kaléidoscope Coktail’ Circa: 1955 Men’s and women’s models in 40-micron gold-plated case. Black dials with gold hour markers, featuring a transparent disc that moves over a brass disc decorated with the same motif as the minute hand. The hour hand, of a more classic design, has a wider red arrow-shaped tip (the only visible part). Plexiglass crystals for both watches. The movements are mechanical, hand-wound, calibre ETA 1302 (men’s) and ETA 1311 (women’s). The gold-plated cases with distinctive lugs were produced by EPSA, which subsequently developed the Super Compressor cases for diving watches. Diameter: 32 mm (men’s) and 25 mm (women’s) Leather straps with gold-plated pin buckles. Condition report: Both watches are in working order.
