Family heirloom. Launched in 1959, the Calatrava reference 3415 was only available for a very short period, until 1960. Produced in limited quantities, it remains a rare model on the market today. Our example is fitted with the famous calibre 12-600 AT, the first automatic movement developed by Patek Philippe. The suffix ‘AT’, short for ‘automatic’, refers here to one of the most refined versions of this calibre, which appeared towards the end of the model’s production run. Housed in a case crafted by Wenger, one of the most prestigious case manufacturers to have collaborated with Patek Philippe, this example thus combines rarity of production, quality of craftsmanship and historical significance.
