An 18k yellow gold manual-winding wristwatch.   Introduced in 1912, the Tortue model is one of Cartier’s most chic and elegant lines. This contemporary version, manufactured in the 1990s prior to the launch of the CPCP collection (Collection Privée Cartier Paris), is powered by the calibre 430MC, a movement developed in 1996 and intended for exceptional timepieces, Métiers d’Art watches and limited-edition horological creations. Introduced in 1912, the Tortue model is regarded as one of the most elegant and refined creations of the Cartier maison. This contemporary version, manufactured during the 1990s prior to the launch of the CPCP collection (Collection Privée Cartier Paris), is powered by the calibre 430MC, a movement developed in 1996 for exceptional timepieces, Métiers d’Art watches and limited-edition horological creations.   CONDITION REPORT: Movement operational at the time of catalogue compilation. Case showing scratches and signs of wear on the bezel, the middle section (particularly around the screws) and the caseback. Two damaged screw heads; two screws missing.
