Introduced in the mid-2000s, the Tank Solo offers a more minimalist and contemporary interpretation of the classic Tank. Reference 3169, corresponding to the large model, went on sale in 2009 and remained in the catalogue until 2021, when Cartier chose to withdraw the Tank Solo from its collections in order to relaunch the Tank Must. Our example features a ‘Piano’ dial, a highly graphic variation that is particularly rare on the market.
