OMEGA 33.3 CK2077 circa 1940
Steel wrist chronograph watch. Round case. Screw-down caseback (bearing the inscription ‘registered design’, found on early production models of ref. 2077). Crown without branding. The pusher at 2 o’clock is missing.
Black lacquered dial with gilt lettering. Gold-coloured hands (hour hands are bent). Chips around the edge from 3 o’clock to 5 o’clock.
Omega 33.3 mechanical movement.
Tropical rubber strap fitted later.
Diameter: 38mm. Lug-to-lug width: 20mm
Matching numbers on the case back and the inside of the upper left lug. The watch was in working order at the time of writing this description.
The reference CK2077, produced from 1937 onwards, was the brand’s first water-resistant chronograph model.
