La Pucelle d’Orléans, a poem in twenty cantos, with notes. A new edition, corrected, expanded and collated from the author’s manuscript.
No place [Geneva, Cramer], 1762, 8vo, bound in full fawn sheepskin, plain spine with decoration, double title label, worn at the joints.
Illustrated with 18 (out of 20) unsigned, intaglio-engraved plates based on drawings by Gravelot (those for Canto 9 and Canto 12 are missing).
First edition acknowledged by the author. It had been preceded by several pirated editions since 1755.

- VOLTAIRE. Essays on Manners. Paris, Lequien, 1821, 4 in-8 volumes bound in half-basane, spines with decorated raised bands, covers rubbed, some foxing. Forms volumes 15 to 18 of the ‘Complete Works of Voltaire’, a complete set in itself.
