1589. An in-8 album bound in modern full cardboard, with a cartouche on the front cover.
A series of 11 engravings out of 14 (15 x 10.5 cm), signed ‘H. Goltzius 1589’ on plate I and with the artist’s name on the others. Very fine prints.
The series is also known as ‘The Little Creed’, as each engraving is accompanied by a verse from the Creed.
