Description

Jasper (born in 1985) UNIQUE WORK Monumental bull in openwork steel, painted black An imposing contemporary sculpture depicting a bull in a charging stance, with its head lowered and horns thrust forwards. The work is characterised by a powerful and dynamic silhouette, powerfully conveying the muscular tension and characteristic energy of the animal. The sculpture is made entirely of steel, featuring an openwork construction comprising a complex assembly of metal elements, circular shapes, gears and welded mechanical parts. This composition creates a true sculptural mesh that allows light to pass through the animal’s body, offering a different interpretation of the work depending on the viewing angle. The surface is painted black, accentuating the sculpture’s graphic quality and highlighting the contrast between the bull’s monumental mass and the transparency of its structure. The long horns, the head, the outstretched limbs and the extended tail reinforce the impression of movement and lend the whole a particularly striking and dynamic presence. With its monumental scale and industrial aesthetic, this work is a large-scale contemporary decorative sculpture, particularly suited to an outdoor installation, a garden, a private property, a corporate space or a spacious interior. Material: openwork and welded steel, painted black Subject: bull Period: contemporary Dimensions: 302 × 90 × 136 cm
