Rectangular blackened wood and tortoiseshell (eretmochelys imbricata or chelonia mydas) veneer CABINET with gilded base opening out to reveal 12 drawers with 4 rows of projecting pedestals and an openwork brass top gallery decorated with 6 plumes.
Lateral wrought iron handles resting on 4 claw and ball feet.
Spanish-style support table with turned rosary-shaped legs linked by 2 wrought-iron tie-rods and cross-pieces, the top in rosewood veneer and light wood fillets, the edge inlaid with bone (havers system noted).
Accidents and restorations, brass parts added, partly later legs.
