FABERGÉ LETTER OPENER - PEN HOLDER In vermeil, with translucent yellow enamelled decoration on a guilloché wave-patterned background, pointed in shape, the upper rim chiselled with a frieze of foliage, finished with a gold cap forming a propelling pencil, complete with its lead. A gilded silver, gold and enamel letter opener / propelling pencil by Fabergé. Saint Petersburg, 1908–1917. Silversmith: Vladimir Soloviev for Carl Fabergé. CF hallmark for Carl Fabergé, intended for his London shop. Import hallmarks for England, London, early 20th century. RC: Length: 12 cm.
