FABERGE ‘EASTER EGG’ PENDANT In 56 zolotniks of yellow gold, the front decorated with black enamel in a spider’s web motif, set with a rose-cut diamond and featuring a spider in bas-relief, the body set with a facetted pear-shaped diamond, the head set with a ruby cabochon. St Petersburg, c. 1890. Goldsmith: Mikhail PERCHIN (active 1886–1903). An enamel, diamond, ruby and 56 zolotnik gold ‘Easter egg’ pendant, by Fabergé. Circa 1890. Related work: An identical egg with a reversed motif, by August Hollming for Carl Fabergé, Saint Petersburg, 1899–1903, Sotheby’s London, 25 November 2025, lot 160 (sold for $12,065).
