CIRCULAR BROOCH COMMISSIONED FOR THE RED CROSS
In 56 zolotniks of yellow gold, silver, enamel and diamonds; the centre features an enamelled red cross on a guilloché background of rice grains, surrounded by a solid band of opaque white enamel; a chiselled gold border featuring a frieze of laurel leaves and six brilliant-cut diamonds, surmounted by a silver ribbon bow set with a cascade of rose-cut diamonds.
