REIGN OF HIS MAJESTY EMPEROR DUY TAN (1907–1916)
Scroll of an imperial decree, dated the 11th day of the eighth month of the third year of the reign of His Majesty Emperor Duy Tân (1909).
On golden-yellow Dó paper from Annam, decorated with silver motifs depicting imperial dragons, phoenixes and symbols of longevity. Bearing the imperial seal ‘Sắc Mệnh Chi Bảo’ (敕命之寶). On the reverse of the paper, in the top right-hand corner, are two small seals, one of which bears the inscription of the Ministry of Finance.

The village of Vị Hạ, in An Đổ commune, Bình Lục district, Hà Nam province, traditionally venerated several deities honoured by imperial decrees. Upon the accession of Emperor Duy Tân in 1907, the court granted them further honours and authorised the continuation of their worship. This imperial decree was promulgated in 1909.
