Description
A two-handled, tripod incense burner in gilded bronze, resting on its base. The bulging body is decorated with a relief design of fish and shellfish against a background engraved with stylised waves and peonies. The dragon-shaped handles are intertwined amongst branches. The lid is surmounted by a Fô dog, whilst the feet feature chimera heads. It stands on a pedestal with openwork decoration featuring fish, crustaceans, foliage and three bats in the centre.
