An octagonal blue-and-white porcelain dish, known as ‘Hue blue’, decorated with dragons in medallions and friezes featuring the stylised ‘Three Mountains’ (Tam Son) motif. Edged with metal.
Four-character mark within the decoration: “Thiêu Tri niên tao”, meaning “Made during the reign of Thieu Tri”.
Made in China for Vietnam, 19th century, Thieu Tri period (1841–1847).
Diameter: 14.5 cm.
