A blue-and-white porcelain tea set, known as ‘Hue blue’, decorated with a landscape scene featuring figures, including fishermen and horsemen, comprising: a tray, a saucer, one large cup and four small cups.
Marked in blue on the underside with the two characters ‘Ngoan Ngoc’.
Made in China for Vietnam, 19th century.
Tray diameter: 18 cm.
Small dish diameter: 14 cm.
Cup diameters: 7.5 and 6.5 cm. Some cups have metal rims.
(Minor chipping and hairline cracks).
