A triangular pennant of honour made of embroidered yellow silk, edged with gold fringes.
The background of the banner features three horizontal red stripes, the historic emblem of Annam, adorned with a magnificent double-dragon motif embroidered in blue and silver thread, the imperial symbol of the Nguyễn dynasty.
On either side, inscriptions in Vietnamese are embroidered in blue thread on the silk:
BAO-CHINH-ĐOÀN NAM-ĐỊNH
DANH-DỰ “Flag of Honour of the Nam Định Provincial Security Corps”.
This is a commemorative military pennant dating from the French Indochina period, attributed to the police and territorial security forces of Nam Định province (Tonkin).
