An oval silver bowl, embossed and chiselled. The base is decorated with two mythical creatures of the Empire: a five-clawed dragon soaring through the clouds (Long) and the tortoise (Quy); the side is decorated with a frieze of animals amongst foliage, whilst the rim features stylised motifs of the Three Mountains (Tam Son). Indochina, late 19th–early 20th century. Dimensions: 11 x 16 cm. Weight: 106.2 g.
