A blue-and-white porcelain dish, known as ‘Hué blue’, decorated with two dragons chasing the sacred pearl above the churning waves.
Marked in blue underglaze with four characters on the base: “Thi doi Luu Huong”, meaning “The eternal reputation of a precious object”.
Made in China for Vietnam, 19th century.
Diameter: 15.8 cm.
