A spouted spittoon in blue-and-white porcelain, known as ‘Hué blue’, decorated with ‘Tho’ symbols of longevity and adorned with two friezes featuring bat and lingzhi motifs. Four-character mark ‘Jin Tang Fa Ji’ (錦堂發記) in blue underglaze beneath the base.
Made in China for Vietnam, circa 1900.
