REIGN OF HIS MAJESTY EMPEROR THIỆU TRỊ (1841–1847)
Scroll of an imperial decree, dated the 26th day of the twelfth month of the sixth year of Emperor Thiệu Trị’s reign (1846).
On golden-yellow Dó paper from Annam, decorated with silver motifs depicting an imperial dragon and symbols of longevity. Bearing the imperial seal ‘Sắc Mệnh Chi Bảo’ (敕命之寶).

The village of Sớm Khê, in Chương Đức district, traditionally venerated Lý Thượng Tướng Quân Ngô Phủ Quân (李上將軍吳府君), a deity renowned for having protected the kingdom and its people and for having demonstrated miraculous power. In recognition of his merits, the imperial court conferred upon him the additional honorary title of ‘Tuấn Mại Cương Trung Đoan Lượng Trung Đẳng Thần’ (俊邁剛忠端亮中等神) and authorised the continuation of his worship so that he might continue to protect the people.
