Jean BOUCHAUD (1891–1977). Winner of the Indochina Prize in 1924. The Chinese Maid. Framed oil on canvas, signed and dated 1929 in the lower right-hand corner. Dimensions: 100x81 cm. Exhibition label on the back of the stretcher dated 1929 (Salon des artistes français) and title of the work. Bibliography: *Carnets du Viêt Nam* “Jean Bouchaud. A Painter in Indochina – 1924–1925”, special edition, 2010. Work reproduced on page 58.
