A blue-and-white porcelain tea set, known as ‘Hué blue’, decorated with figures in a palace set amongst the mountains, comprising: a tray, one large cup and three small cups.
Blue mark on the underside consisting of two characters: My Ngoc.
Made in China for Vietnam, 19th century.
Tray diameter: 17.7 cm.
Cup diameters: 7.5 and 6.8 cm.
(Minor chips and hairline cracks).
Blue and white porcelain tea service, known as “Bleu de Hué”, decorated with figures in a palace set amongst mountains. Comprising a tray, one large cup and three small cups. Two-character blue underglaze mark reading “Mỹ Ngọc”.
