The central case features some of Mortier’s traditional stops: the 22 jazz flutes (characterised by their chimneys and modulation valves) in the counter-voice; the 23 doubled drones in the main voice; and the accompaniments. Two motors drive this organ; one to operate the blower via a crankshaft and a resized flywheel; the other to drive the reading of the perforated tape. Condition Complete restoration required.
