Description
Automatic carousel organ, with 52 keys bearing the name ‘Gasparini’ on the front of the console-style, painted wooden facade.
This instrument has been rebuilt into a contemporary case and uses a 52-key action from the Gasparini workshop. The instrumental composition of this organ follows the layout of the 52-note Gasparini scale, particularly the basses (7 trombones), the accompaniment, the lead voice and the counter-voice.
The wind chest is fitted with electromagnets that control the opening of the valves, receiving signals from contacts positioned beneath the reading levers.
An electric motor drives the rotation of the crankshaft and the movement of the bellows via a system of pulleys and belts.
Condition
Complete restoration required. Some old Gasparini paper rolls.
